iPhone AirPods Powerbeats Apple Watch soon

Every jump counts.

Jump Rope Protocol counts every jump with your AirPods or Powerbeats, runs your HIIT, EMOM and pyramid sessions, and adjusts to the rope in your hands.

Apple Watch app coming soon

Counting

Your AirPods count every jump.

The app reads your head’s motion through your AirPods: up as you leave the floor, down as you land. Leave the phone on the floor. The numbers are big enough to read from there.

Cadence, streaks, trips
Jumps per minute, your longest unbroken run, and every trip. The clock keeps running; the streak starts over.
Heart rate
Pair a Polar H10 or any Bluetooth heart-rate strap for live BPM, zones, and an alert when you run too hot.
A voice in your ears
The countdown, each round and each milestone, spoken in your AirPods.
Calories
Estimated from your weight and your time under the rope. Kilograms or pounds, your call.

Works with AirPods Pro, AirPods (3rd generation or later), AirPods Max and Beats with head tracking.

Sessions

Seven ways to jump.

Pick a format, dial it in on number wheels, and the app runs it: countdown, work, rest, and the voice in your ears.

  • HIIT

    10 × 40 s / 40 s

Work and rest on the clock.

  • Jump intervals

    5 × 100 jumps / 30 s rest

Each round ends on a jump count, not the clock.

  • EMOM

    10 min · 25 jumps/min

Every minute, on the minute. Finish early, rest the rest.

  • Rising EMOM

    10 → 20 jumps/min · until you miss

The target climbs each minute. With Death by on, the first miss ends it.

  • Pyramid

    50-100-150-100-50 jumps

Targets climb to a peak, then come back down.

  • AMRAP

8:00 · as many as you can

One clock, one number to beat.

  • Free Jump

    Goal · 500 jumps

Just count. Set a goal and hear it land.

Build your own

Name it, set it on number wheels or type the numbers, and keep it for next time. It runs exactly as you wrote it. Presets get you going.

Ropes

Heavier rope, honest targets.

Tell the app which rope you’re holding. Guided sessions scale cadence, volume and rest to its weight, for the same training effect.

History on iPhone: sessions per day, records and progress

History

Fill the grid.

Every session lands in History: a square for each day you jump, weeks in a row, personal records, and each session’s cadence down to every unbroken run.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Which AirPods count jumps?

AirPods Pro, AirPods (3rd generation or later), AirPods Max and Beats with head tracking, on an iPhone with iOS 17 or later.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. Your iPhone counts with your AirPods. An Apple Watch app is on the way.

Is it a subscription?

No. Counting is free for good, and Pro is a one-time purchase: $9.99 at launch, $19.99 after.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. Your sessions stay on your iPhone. There’s no account, no ads and no tracking. Apple Health is only read, for your weight, if you allow it.

Kilograms or pounds?

Your choice, for your weight and your ropes. Switch anytime in Settings.

Which heart-rate straps work?

The Polar H10, or any strap that uses the standard Bluetooth heart-rate service.

Which languages?

English and French.
